We took a little side trip to a tourist town that has restored Victorian architecture, Ferndale, CA. Prices were high and it was obviously designed for the tourist business but it was interesting to see.
We had lunch at a very advertised Samoa Cookhouse where they used to feed hundreds of loggers and fishermen. It was fun to see and the food was plentiful.
