Early Tuesday morning the two of us took a train down to Hualien City where met by our private taxi driver and tour guide, Bro Chen. He was recently released as Branch President after serving 8 1/2 years. He spoke very little English and since the Horners weren't with us the two days that he was our guide, communication was a bit more difficult. He had a very nice camera and was so excited about making a DVD of our two days that we hardly got to look at places before he told us where to stand for pictures and he sat on the road or climbed on railings just to get the perfect spot. No question that there were more shots taken of us during those two days than all combined since we left home.
