Craters of the Moon, Idaho

The next stop along the way was Crater's of the Moon Nat'l Monument. I have heard of it all of my life and I found it interesting and not terribly exciting. It is mammoth patches of black lava rock. When we told our friends that we had been there he said, "Everyone should visit there ONCE."
