On Wed. afternoon we met our friends from China, Pat and Burton Shields. We spent five great days with them.

The first thing we did on Wed. afternoon was to drive over to the Canadian side of the Glacier/Waterton Lakes Peace Park and saw Waterton Lake and the famous hotel that we remembered from our honeymoon. It was closed for the season but is a magnificient old hotel that was built when the railroads helped build mammoth hotels at the national parks and brought tourists there.

We drove around the Waterton area and visited this pretty little lake in the mountains of the park. Cameron Lake.

I want to stay in that lodge and wake up to that view in the morning!
