Saturday AM

Mike and I got up early and drove about 45 miles to the Curecanti National Recreation Area to take a boat tour on the Morrow Point Reservoir. We had to hike about 3/4 mile, down 233 steps to a path where an old narrow gauge RR train used to run. There are now 3 dams on the Gunnison river so the tracks have all been pulled up but in its day it was a great way for materials to be shipped from Denver west.
We boarded a boat Nat'l Park Service ranger as a tour guide and another as captain.
