Mike and I left Mt.Pleasant about 9 AM and drove to Grand Junction where we stopped at Red Lobster because I had heard about the Endless Shrimp being offered. We actually didn't get too much of the endless part but I did take some coconut shrimp with me.
We drove on to the Black Canyon and set up our trailer about 4 PM. The camp hosts came around and told us of a Ranger talk about the night sky that was going to be given that evening at the Visitor's Center. We decided that we would go and enjoyed ourselves. The only other guests there were three girls and their mother from Taiwan. One is doing graduate work here in the States and the others were visiting. It was fun to visit with them. Because of the small group we were pretty casual with the Ranger, too. The next day we chatted with him some at the Visitor's Center and he did this silly pose.
