Paseo Cayala'

After we finished working our shift which started at 6:30 AM we went with the Normans and Fishers to an area named Paseo Cayala.  It is a direct comparison of the poverty that we have been seeing.  It is a 63 acre complex with housing dining, shopping, a movie theater and 90 businesses. It is even complete with a church and an interesting sculpture on a lawn area.

The first place we went was to an outstanding Italian place to eat named  Tre Fatelli    I had one of the best pasta dishes that I have ever had with chicken stuffed ravioli in a cream sauce with artichoke and broccoli.

Then we just walked around and went into one shop where Chris wanted to buy a gift.  It was fun to see something different and to get an idea how the wealthy in Guatemala shop and live.  We really enjoy both the Fishers and the Normans.
