Monday

We enjoyed a relaxing day on Monday at Adam and Amy's home. He took us on base
and we were able to see where he works, look inside the Blackhawk's he flies and
see the base. We drove past the area where the tornado had hit the base. It was amazing to see the path.

One of the humorous events of the day for me was listening to Mike ask Adam if we were going to visit a certain bookstore that he had located in the phone book. Adam's response was, "Sorry but I didn't want to get out of the car. I didn't have a gun with me." Apparently there are some pretty rough areas in Fayetteville.

later in the evening Mike and I went for a walk around their neighborhood. When we got back my hair was wet. It was a great reminder of the heat and humidity of our time in Georgia.
