When we got to Raleigh we first had a delicious lunch at PF Chang's and then drove over to the Temple. We weren't able to go to a session because the first one was when we should be catching our plane but the grounds were lovely. When we got out of the car the President and his wife were also getting out of their car. We visited for a while and found out that he is the brother of Elder Richard G Scott and our friend and former Stake President Gerald Scott. The world in the Church is small sometimes.

Just after we got out of the car at the airport there was a cloudburst and some of the planes had to be diverted. Our plane was late but we made it to Chicago with 10 minutes to run to the plane to SLC. We got good seats, Steph was there to meet us and we slept and Connie and Ryans before getting up early and heading home.

It was a great trip!
