Day Six- Cruise

We were at sea on day six.  Sadly, we couldn't hear the speakers in the hall very well and missed the Captain making an announcement that we would be circling White Island Volcano for a good part of the afternoon. Thinking that nothing was happening we went to the movie theater and watched "Rio".  When we met the others for dinner at 5:30 they started talking about the volcano.  We looked out just as the ship had finished circling it and just got a glance.  It is the only active marine volcano in New Zealand. The pictures that I have attached, therefore, are from Google Images, not my camera but they do give a picture of the most important part of the day.
