The first picture is an ancient gate left in the center of the town. Kunming has a definite Muslim influence. You will see the Mosque, a store and a gllow in costume. Often in cities you will see groups of people out exercising together.
The Stone Forest was near the Tibetan border in northern Yunnan Province. It is a massive collection of limestone pillars eroded by wind and rain that shape fanciful forms.
