Lijing

We spent the afternoon at Black Dragon Pool Park. We were supposed to be able to get a neat shot of a reflection of Snow Mt. but you can hardly see Snow Mt. in the distance. it was a beautiful park.

We had free time in the old town of Lijang. Probably the most interesting thing to me was the water source with the three ponds. The water comes from a spring and the top pond is for drinking water, the next for washing fruits and veggies, the third for laundry and then out into the fields.

We visited the ancient town near Lijing and then visited a local village of the Naxi Minority.

I am bringing an infant carrier like this home. Basically you put a strap under the child's bottom and tie them on. Very pretty.
